Yes, there is life after TWILIGHT... (Mature Edition)

Hello grown-up TWILIGHT fans. You know who you are. (Shhhh....it's ok, I'm one of you). What are you reading now? If you're looking to recapture some of that Edward/Jacob/Bella magic and sexiness, take a look at these hot series. You won't be disappointed ;) And if you want more suggestions, check out this post for recommendations that are appropriate for teen-readers, too.

DEAD WITCH WALKING by Kim Harrison (click here for a "look inside")

"You'll love this bounty-hunter team. . A fun-fair ride through a fascinating version of our world." (Charlaine Harris, USA Today Bestselling Author of Club Dead )

DARK LOVER by JR Ward (click here for a "look inside")
"In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger Brotherhood. The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed-leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate-Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams."

DEAD UNTIL DARK by Charlaine Harris (click here for a "look inside")
Sookie Stackhouse is just a small-time cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana. Until the vampire of her dreams walks into her life-and one of her coworkers checks out...Maybe having a vampire for a boyfriend isn't such a bright idea. A fun, fast, funny, and wonderfully intriguing blend of vampire and mystery that's hard to put down, and should not be missed. (Susan Sizemore)

Enjoy!!
Sarah

PS: If you haven't read the TWILIGHT series by Stephenie Meyer, you can read my review of it here. (Basically, we're talking about a gothic romance. Totally fun, moody, sexy, and incredible atmosphere. Think WUTHERING HEIGHTS meets Nora Roberts. Somehow they manage to be both chaste and sexy, which is why mothers AND daughters are loving them :)
